We are at the heart of the communities we serve. We exist to share the glory of God in Jesus Christ and to show that God loves all people. We are friendly churches where people can worship God, make friends, feel refreshed and uplifted. There’s a place for you and we’d love you to join us.
Our worship at St Michael’s Church takes a variety of forms. On the first and third Sundays of the month we celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion) at 10am. On the second Sunday we meet for ‘Food for Thought’ at 10am, beginning with coffee or tea and a bacon roll and following this with an act of worship of about thirty minutes - which explores a topical issue. On the fourth Sunday of the month we have our informal Family Service at 10am, lasting about forty minutes and ending with refreshments. Whenever there’s a fifth Sunday, we celebrate the Eucharist at 10am using the Iona order of service.
We are very closely linked to St Michael’s School and all the schools in the Tenterden Schools Trust. It’s a relationship which enriches both school and church and we’re very proud indeed to be part of such a great school.

The school has a close working relationship with the Church. For more information about what’s on at St Michael’s and All Angels please visit the Church of England in Tenterden website:
You may be aware by now that St. Mildred's Church are sending out a team of 5 this summer to Romania to support the work of Cry in the Dark. As part of the fundraising efforts, there will be a White Elephant sale at St. Mildred's Church Hall here in Tenterden on Saturday 30th May. If you are in the process of clearing out your attics, garages or sheds and have something you think might sell and would like to donate to this event then please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 07711177726.
Many thanks and blessings
